DEREK CHANDLER
Derek is the Founder and Director of Marmalade Ski School. Coming into his 25th year in Meribel he and his team have an extensive knowledge of the resort and its surrounds. He has worked with one of the bigger French ski schools and initially qualified through the French Ski Instructing system ENSA. In the mid 2000’s he transferred to the British system where he spent 10 years as a trainer/examiner for BASI and their developing instructors. Derek continues to possess an infectious passion for skiing “avec zest” which has also become the ethos for Marmalade; offering bespoke private lessons from beginner sessions to off-piste and ski touring.
